How to Play Bonoloto

This game requires players to choose 6 numbers from 1 to 49. To start playing you must first buy a ticket at any authorised lottery store. There are two kinds of tickets, and these are differentiated by the colour of their top sections.

Green and red top sections: These tickets allow you to participate in just 1 draw (there are four draws per week.)
Red top section: These tickets allow you to participate in all four weekly draws.

This game allows you to make two different kinds of entries...

Direct simple method: This method allows you to make anything from 1 to 8 entries on the same ticket. Each entry is made by marking (with an X) your chosen numbers on a separate section of the play slip.

Direct Multiple method: This method allows you to make more than eight entries with a single ticket. To do so, you have to mark anything from 5 to 11 numbers on the first section of the ticket. If you pick 5 numbers then the remaining 44 will be combined with your 5 picks to give you 44 entries.

Each entry costs €0.50, but if you are participating in only one draw then the minimum quantity of entries you can play is two, making the cost €1. You may play Bonoloto every day except Sundays from 8:30 am to 9:00 pm. Draws take place on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 9:30 p.m.

The top prize goes to the player that matches all six numbers, but there are also consolation prizes for those who match 5, 4, or 3 numbers. You may also obtain a prize called a Refund, which is basically a refund of the money you paid to enter the draw. If you played with red and green top part play slip, the refund number is the one picked the same day that you played. If you used the red-only top part play slip, your refund number must coincide only with the one picked during the Friday draw.

Prizes:

If the amount of money you win does not exceed the sum of €600, you may collect it from any authorised lottery retailer. If you win a prize that exceeds €600 euros, you can only collect it from one of the commercial offices of Loterìas y Apuestas del Estado. If you choose to may in all four weekly draws, you will need to wait until the day after the last one has taken place before you can claim any prize you might have won.

There is always one more chance to win with Bonoloto. On each ticket you will find a column called 5+ complementary number. This complementary number gives you the chance of winning when you’ve missed a prize. For example, if you have four numbers matching and the complementary number is one of your selections, you will win a consolation prize.
